Computer and IT AMC Services
Someone accountable for the machines your work runs on.
An annual maintenance contract is only worth having if it changes what happens on a bad morning. Ours is built around a named contact and a stated response time, not a quarterly visit that ticks a box.
What this covers
- An asset register — every machine, its age, warranty status and what it runs
- Preventive visits on a fixed schedule, each one followed by a written report
- Antivirus, patching and backup checks verified rather than assumed to be running
- Break-fix cover with response times stated in the contract, not implied by it
- Replacement advice based on the age of the machine, not on what we happen to stock
- Printers, peripherals and basic server upkeep named in scope so nothing is ambiguous
How we run it
Audit
We list what you actually own before quoting. Most AMCs are priced on a guess at machine count, which is how scope arguments start six months later.
Baseline
Patching, antivirus and backups brought to a known state, so the contract starts from a documented position rather than an inherited mess.
Maintain
Scheduled preventive visits plus break-fix cover inside the agreed response window, with every job logged against the asset it touched.
Review
A periodic review of what broke, what is ageing, and what should be budgeted for replacement before it fails rather than after.
What you get
- An asset register you keep, showing what you own and when each machine is due for replacement
- Response times written into the contract, including what happens when we miss one
- A report after every visit describing what was done, not just an invoice saying it was
Questions we get asked
What is covered, and what gets billed on top?
Labour and diagnosis are in the contract; physical parts are not. Parts are passed on at cost with the supplier invoice attached, so you can see there is no margin hidden in a component you cannot price yourself.
How quickly do you respond?
It depends on the tier you choose, and the number is written into the contract before you sign rather than described as a priority. We would rather commit to a slower time we can hold than a faster one we cannot.
Do we have to buy hardware through you?
No. We will specify what you need and you are free to buy it anywhere. If you would rather we supplied it, we quote it separately from the AMC so the two decisions stay independent.
